Armageddon Designs have featured on some of Australia's top Motorsport features Magazines. We have been involved with V8X magazine, the official magazine of V8 Supercars, through their 'Skin Bling' and 'Skins' articles, contributing interviews and designs along with some of Australia's top designers.

Along with V8X you can see some of our work in Motorsport News and Enews. Motorsport News ran an article on the process of livery design in their December 2009 using us as the base for this and drawing on our background and skills to develop an article offering an insight to the unseen art of livery design. We also have had numerous designs printed in relation to teams announcing a new sponsor and using our rendering as the release image.

      Motorsport News recently ran an article on Designing a Race car. For this article Dane was
      interviewd by Mitchell Adam to produce an insight into the processes involved in designing a
      modern livery for any series.

      After a break of over a year V8X decided to run the 'Skins' article again, this time named 'War
      Paint' we where given the task of creating a Livery based on an industry rumour at the time, this
      being Russell Ingall's PMM Car would be the new Castrol Racing entry for the 2010 season.

Orrcon V8 Superschool Comp

ORRCON V8 SUPERSCHOOL :: Orrcon V8 Superschool Falcon in it's new Livery

      Orrcon Steel ran a competition in late 2008 to design a livery for their new V8 Superschool
      Falcon at the Performance Driving Centre on the Gold Coast. This was a national competition and
      was open to the general public to enter. We submitted 5 designs for the competition and
      managed to come out on top with our 4th concept in the series. I was rather shocked to win the competition knowing that the level of the entries would be high. Once the design was selected it was transferred to the schools new Falcon where it will be used for Orrcon Corporate drive/ride days.

The second article for the 'Skins' series would focus on the Jack Daniel's VE of Todd Kelly. In this
issue we landed two of our designs in the final artcle.

GLENFORDS FG :: Glenfords FG Concept for V8X Magazine

      With the Skin Bling article being so successful, V8X decided to run with a similar article, this time
      called 'Skins'. Neville Wilkinson this time changed the way we where to do the article, he would
      set a team and we would produce our own version of there livery. We started the series with
      Fabian Coulthards PCR/Glenfords FG.
