While the guides might not be hugely popular in Australia as the majority of people that follow the sport already know of the cars and drivers in the series, unlike Le Mans and the American Le Mans series which often have one off drivers/teams etc, the V8 Supercar grid is much more stable. This does change though as the series enters it's 'Season of Endurance' and the main drivers of the series are joined by a second driver and for Gold Coast where they are joined by an international driver. With the ever growing popularity of V8 Supercars it is hoped that these guids will be popular with overseas fans as they get to know the Australian series and watch their favorite international driver take on this demanding series.
